Teacher Development

4,000 Teachers Improve Reading Instruction

Through the Three Rivers Education Foundation’s literacy initiative, teachers receive high-quality professional development from experts in reading and instruction.

More than 4,000 teachers have attended professional development provided or sponsored by Three Rivers! (And that’s not even including the 2,500 teachers who have gone through pedagogy training for reading tutors!)

Supporting Local Needs

School leaders and teachers know what they want and need. We help them access the training that fits their needs.

  • Support funding for professional development
If schools need an outside source for professional development in reading, we can help with the funding.
  • Provide a menu of professional development options that we can deliver
We have reading experts in-house to provide a wide variety of professional development options, and we can customize for schools’ needs. This works for most schools and districts.

Professional Learning Menus

Project staff members and partners offer many professional development topics. Participating districts can receive them for free.
